TRiPEAK Bottom Bracket Fit Finder

Find a TRiPEAK bottom bracket by frame standard, shell width and crank spindle. Compare the ten current options and their tool interfaces below.

Start with three details

  1. Frame interface: identify the standard in the frame maker’s documentation, including whether the shell is threaded or press-fit.
  2. Shell width: use the bare frame-shell measurement. A number such as T47 does not identify the width.
  3. Crank model: check the spindle standard and the full crank version, including Road, Wide or MTB designations.

This finder covers the listed road applications. It does not establish fit for every crank with the same spindle diameter. The BB86 products are listed as 86 mm by TRiPEAK; verify the frame maker’s nominal shell specification rather than rounding a measurement yourself.

What the 3-in-1 option does

TRiPEAK’s official 3-in-1 article identifies Shimano Hollowtech II 24 mm, SRAM DUB 28.99 mm and ROTOR 3D+ 30 mm spindle standards. A compatible core setup lets you change between the supported cranks while the bottom bracket remains in the frame. The table below shows which current listings support those applications; the frame standard and shell width still select the bottom bracket.

Match your frame and crank

T47 bottom brackets for SRAM DUB

Three T47 shell widths are listed here: 68/73 mm, 77.5 mm and 86/85.5 mm. All three current listings specify SRAM DUB Road alongside Shimano 24 mm and ROTOR 3D+ 30 mm compatibility. Pick the shell width first and confirm the adapter and spacer arrangement for the exact crank. Do not use this table to infer DUB Wide or MTB fitment.

Common mix-ups

Are BB30 and PF30 the same frame standard?

No. Their listed shell bores are 42 mm and 46 mm respectively. The current combined TRiPEAK listing specifies both applications at 68 mm; check which configuration the instructions require for your frame.

Can a BSA or ITA cup fit a T47 frame?

No. These are different threaded interfaces. The BSA product here specifies a 68 mm shell and the ITA product a 70 mm shell. T47 needs a T47 bottom bracket in the correct width.

Which BB86 version do I need?

The Shimano-only listing specifies a 24 mm crank spindle. The other BB86 listing specifies DUB Road and ROTOR 30 mm. Match the crank, not just the BB86 name.

Read bottom bracket standards explained and our installation checklist. If any detail is uncertain, send your frame model, year, shell specification and crank model before ordering.
