Wheel decals alone are not enough to establish bearing fit. A wheel model can use different hub internals over time, and a freehub body can have its own bearing requirements. The specification in each linked listing is the fitment reference for that kit.

Before removing the old bearings
- Record the hub and freehub model, generation, axle type and brake configuration.
- Read the markings on every bearing being replaced and compare sizes and quantities with the listing.
- Check the hub service manual for extraction tools, press drifts and preload adjustment.
- Keep axle spacers and seals in order and contact us if any dimension differs.
Is the DT Swiss 240s kit universal?
No. There are separate road and disc listings. The disc listing specifically excludes the oversized hub body. A 240 or 240s name by itself does not establish compatibility with another generation, including a different ratchet system.
Does the Roval Rapide CLX kit also fit Alpinist CL II?
The current catalog has separate kits: Rapide CLX / Alpinist CLX uses EMA-WBKCC-ROV03, while Alpinist CL II uses EMA-WBKCC-ROV04. Their bearing contents differ.
The Campagnolo / Fulcrum listing is a freehub-body-only kit for the stated rim-brake application and excludes R5. For help, send your hub model, year and bearing markings. Browse all wheel bearing kits.
